Galavant: 10 Best Songs From Season 2
5. Maybe You Won’t Die Alone
Richard has to be the most naive, inept, virginal ex-king in history. He is also oblivious to Roberta’s obvious interest in him. A fed-up Galavant decides its time to intervene. He arranges a nice dinner for two — to set the mood — brings out the musicians, and sings this song. This might be one of my favorites. Timothy Omundson’s sells Richards idiocy with a dose of loyalty and compassion, as only he can. And Joshua Sasse is quite the handsome knight.
6. Off With His Shirt
What would a comedic musical extravaganza be without a musical guest or two? This time it’s Kylie Minogue as the ‘Queen of the Queens’ in a gay bar in the Enchanted Forest! Its a chance for Kylie to display her singing chops while stripping Galavant in a gay bar. I don’t see anyone complaining.
7. Best Kiss
A hilarious introspection of Galavant and Isabella’s first kiss. This is the kiss they have built their romance on and yet, in retrospect, maybe it wasn’t so wonderful after all. Will their romance survive this decidedly unspectacular, “somewhat yeasty, slightly musty,” kiss?
