The Grinder Gets Full Season Order From Fox

News, The Grinder

Rejoice, The Grinder fans. As of yesterday, the fate of our favorite new comedy is no longer in the air. Backed by generally favorable reviews and decent-to-good ratings, Fox has officially ordered a full season of the show, which will bring its first season run to twenty two episodes.

The Grinder is the perfect combination of razor-sharp wit and relatable family dynamics — two hallmarks of successful comedies,” Fox entertainment president David Madden said. “The critics have embraced this original, fresh and funny show, and the talented cast – led by Rob Lowe and Fred Savage — has done such an incredible job infusing it with biting humor and heartfelt moments.”

In case you haven’t been watching, The Grinder stars Lowe as Dean Sanderson a successful actor who, when his TV show ends decides to move back to his hometown and go into the family business – law. Fred Savage stars as his brother Stewart, a competent, if not at all flashy lawyer determined to prove to Dean that playing a lawyer on TV is not at all like being one in real life.

Sounds fun, doesn’t it? Well, now, with a full season order, there’s no excuse not to check it out.

The Grinder airs Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c on FOX.
