Fear The Walking Dead: The Official Comic-Con Trailer

Ladies and gentlemen, by the grace of Comic-Con we have finally been given a full length trailer for AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead!

After months of too-short teasers and tantalizing set photos, it’s all finally here, and it looks awesome.

For those who may not be familiar with this upcoming The Walking Dead companion series, let me give you a short rundown of what we know so far:

Where The Walking Dead started with central character Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) waking up mid-apocalypse, this series takes place in Los Angeles and chronicles the terrifying beginnings of the zombie outbreak. It will focus on a whole new cast of characters and stars Kim Dickens (Sons of Anarchy) as Madison, Cliff Curtis (Missing) as Travis, Frank Dillane (Sense8) as Nick, and Alycia Debnam-Carey (The 100) as Alicia.

Like its predecessor, Fear The Walking Dead will debut with a short six-episode season for fans to dip their toes into starting on August 23. Despite not having aired yet, the series has already been renewed for a second season, so zombie lovers can only expect more horror, gore, and badassery to come.

I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t wait to see where this series takes us (and, really, what I can learn from it. I’m fully prepared to take notes chronicling the “Dos” and “Don’ts” in the event of a zombie virus outbreak. Just in case…).
