Full House Spin-Off: Officially Coming to Netflix!

News

That’s right! A continuation of the hit comedy, Full House, is officially coming to Netlix.

With a 13 episode order, Fuller House is set to debut on Netflix in 2016. The show’s premise sounds an awful lot like the original, which will only add to the nostalgia of the 90s series.

Candance Cameron Bure will return as D.J., who has two children and a third on the way. She’s now a widow, so her younger sister Stephanie (Jodi Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) move in with her to help out. The Tanner family sure knows how to step in when they are needed, that’s for sure.

John Stamos will not only produce the show, but also return in guest appearances as Uncle Jesse. Stamos announced the news last night on Jimmy Kimmel, calling the spin-off a “labor of love” that they’ve worked for years to get just right. When Kimmel asked Stamos if Bob Saget would be returning, Stamos simply responded “he better.”

The series will begin with a one-hour reunion special that will hopefully include most of the original cast. Either way, we’re excited!

Fuller House follows a trend of revivals that play on our love of nostalgia, including Girl Meets World and The X-Files (coming soon).
