Castle Preview: 7 Reasons Not to Miss “Resurrection”

Castle, Previews

The next episode of Castle is the first part of a dramatic, suspenseful two-parter that you are not going to want to miss. Seriously. Here are a few reasons to look forward to “Resurrection.” (Some spoilers, too!)

1. Surprises at Home.

We get a little time with Castle’s entire family at home. That time includes a surprise from Alexis that leads Castle and Beckett to start a serious conversation.

2. Castle and Beckett Get To Work Together Again.

Castle is brought in to consult on a case, and he and Beckett work together as a solid team. It’s about time! These two have always had a powerful partnership, and this episode shows that chemistry exceptionally well.

3. The Return of an Infamous Serial Killer.

Everyone thought 3XK was dead when we last saw him, but Castle was never quite so confident. The timing of this, by the way, couldn’t be more perfect. We’ve had a fun ride with Castle as a P.I., but it was time for something more intense. Well, this episode is definitely intense.

4. So Much Mystery.

The case, and the people involved, will make your head spin. This is no ordinary murder investigation, but instead a case that is full of twists and surprises. We would expect nothing less with the potential return of 3XK, right?

5. Flashbacks.

There are enough flashbacks to catch you up on 3XK if you don’t remember all of the details from previous episodes, and they are really well-done. I’m telling you, everything about this episode is excellent.

6. A Huge Cliffhanger.

It’s a two-part episode that we know is going to be intense, so I don’t think it’s a surprise that there’s a cliffhanger. But this one is a big one, and it’s going to affect everyone.

7. It’s arguably the best episode of this season.

Truly. This episode is very well-written and intriguing. You’re not going to want to miss it!

  • The problem is whether the long time fans who turned away after Season 6.23 are getting the message for the Sweeps 2-parter and even care any more?

I haven’t seen 1 promo on ABC in the past week for this ep?

Next week the Grammys tribute to Stevie Wonder, return of The Voice and good show Night Shift 2-23 aren’t going to help ratings either. Hurry up DWTS March return if that helps at all? The dragging over of 1 minute per ep on DWTS and The Bachelor falsify the Castle ratings.

NCIS: LA has been beating Castle every night lately; hope that drops for these 2 eps? The DVR 3 to 7-day ratings will be interesting?
