Bad News for Franklin & Bash Fans

Franklin & Bash, News

After four fantastic, hilarious seasons, TNT’s Franklin and Bash has been canceled as the network goes through a “transition period” according to Deadline.

It’s terrible news for Franklin and Bash fans, especially after a cliffhanger that left Stanton Infeld’s life hanging in the balance. And what about Jared and Swatello? There are just so many unanswered questions.

Season 4 was also different from the others, having changed the cast pretty dramatically, and starting the season later in the summer. To me, it was odd for Franklin and Bash to run through October, so I have to wonder if that had something to do with the lower number of viewers. After all, this was the sort of relaxing, fun dramedy that was just right for summer viewing.

I had been wondering, though, what would happen if Jared did get serious with Swattello, since the show certainly wouldn’t be the same without Peter and Jared as roommates. Maybe they’d have become next-door neighbors? I think change was coming for the characters regardless.
