Tycho’s weak body removal skills come back to haunt everyone in Domina Season 1 Episode 8, a finale that wraps up a lot of storylines, but certainly leaves things wide open for a potential second season.

The penultimate episode of Domina’s first season is one of the series’ worst, but at least Livia finally realizes her plan to pin the return of the Republic on Drusus was never going to work.

Livia’s decision to commit some cold-blooded murder leads to Domina’s most exciting episode yet, a fast-paced hour that manages to generate some genuine tension. 

Domina Season 1 Episode 5, “Plague,” gives Livia a frightening glimpse of how precarious her position in Rome is without her husband at her side. 

Domina’s fourth episode is a perfect mix of the best things about the show (Livia’s complex scheming) and the absolute worst (everything involving the younger generation).

Domina Season 1 Episode 3, “Family,” pushes the series over a decade into the future, recasts all its main characters, and finally gets into the meat of its story.

The second episode of “Domina” sees Livia Drusilla return to Rome and plot her way to a whole new — and more powerful — life.

The first episode of Epix’s historical drama “Domina” is a soapy Roman epic that may take a few liberties with the historical record, but is still surprisingly entertaining to watch.
