The team is in a race against nature with their latest investigation on NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 9, “South of Nowhere.”
This one takes the team somewhere new — and cold. They travel to an Antarctica research base to uncover why a climate scientist killed a colleague.
While CBS hasn’t shared a specific promo video for the episode, one can try to decipher some clues from the photos. For instance, it seems like there are multiple people dead or injured in this research facility.
So, it’s more than likely that the team’s investigation is much bigger than they think upon arrival. As if that’s not enough, they’re up against a clock.
They have to solve the crime before their plan engine freezes from the cold. Plus, the crime occurs on Polar Night Eve, meaning that they’re about to be trapped in darkness for six months. Assumedly, those aren’t the preferred travel conditions.
A lot is going on with “South of Nowhere,” making it quite the episode for the show to head into hiatus on. NCIS: Sydney will return with new episodes on Tuesday, February 24, at 10/9c. Notably, because there isn’t a new NCIS: Origins, “South of Nowhere” airs on Tuesday, December 16, at 9/8c on CBS.
Here’s everything you need to know about this NCIS: Sydney episode, including the air date, cast, promo, and how to watch.
