Vote for Your Favorite TV Shows and Performers! The 2025 Tell-Tale TV Awards (Round 1)

Voting is now open for Round 1 of our annual Tell-Tale TV Awards!

Each year, we celebrate our love of television by giving our readers the chance to vote on their favorite TV shows and performers from the previous year.

As always, the nominees came from our hard-working team members and you, our dedicated readers. As usual, there’s plenty of great TV to choose from. You can vote below for your favorite TV shows and performers in each category.

There are 12 categories this year, including Favorite Network Comedy Series, Favorite Performer in a Network Comedy Series, Favorite Cable or Streaming Drama Series, Favorite Performer in a Cable or Streaming Drama Series, Favorite Limited Series, Favorite Animated Series, Favorite New Show, and more.

This year, we’ve combined sci-f/fantasy series with drama series categories, and we only have one category dedicated to new shows. However, new shows may appear in their respective genre categories as well.

There will be a total of three rounds of voting, and the final winners will be announced in June. All awards are for shows airing between May 2024 and April 2025.

Some of the TV shows included in this year’s nominees include Abbott Elementary, Ghosts, Animal Control, What We Do in the Shadows, Shrinking, Hacks, The Righteous Gemstones, Matlock, 9-1-1, The Rookie, Found, Grey’s Anatomy, The Pitt, Outlander, Dark Winds, The Last of Us, Yellowjackets, Severance, and Paradise, among others.

But that’s just naming a few. Review each category below carefully before you make your choices!

A few of the performers included in this year’s nominees are Danielle Pinnock, Annie Potts, Joel McHale, Jean Smart, Kate Hudson, Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Justin Hartley, Kelli Williams, Taylor Kinney, Adam Scott, Harrison Ford, Noah Wyle, Bella Ramsey, Chyler Leigh, Penn Badgley, Sterling K. Brown, and more.

Again, that’s just naming a few! You can vote for your favorite performers in several categories below, and there are many to choose from.

Okay, so how does voting work? Here are the details:

You’ll need a free account with Tell-Tale TV in order to vote. Don’t worry; it’s easy to sign up below if you don’t already have one!
Vote for up to THREE choices in each of the 12 categories below from now through Tuesday, May 20th at 8pm EST.
Click “vote” after each category.
You can vote once per day until voting closes.
The top 12 nominees in each category (or more in cases of ties) will then move on to Round 2, which will begin on May 21st.

There will be a total of three rounds of voting. Make your selections in each category carefully!

Remember: In order to vote, you’ll need to sign up for a free account with Tell-Tale TV if you don’t already have one! You can vote for up to three nominees in each of the categories below. You can vote once a day until voting closes on May 20th. You won’t be able to vote more than once in a 24-hour period.
