13 Reasons Timeless Needs a Season 3
8. Lyatt

Lucy and Wyatt spent Season 1 falling in love, the first half of Season 2 getting to their first kiss, and the second half of Season 2 facing the return of Jessica.
It was worth the wait to have an episode like Timeless Season 2 Episode 3, “Hollywoodland,” where Lyatt finally has a night with no clockblocking to interrupt them.
Lyatt is a beautiful, sexy, deeply wonderful ship that deserves a full season of sailing.
A Season 3 can bring Lyatt together and let them explore what it looks like to be together while risking their lives to save history. Timeless needs to live on so we can see this beautiful love story have a satisfying arc.
9. Teachers Teaching Timeless

Teachers all over the world have rejoiced at the historically accurate and Smithsonian reviewed episodes on Timeless! Many teachers, myself included, are using Timeless as part of their curriculums.
Timeless is not only in living rooms, it is in classrooms too!
The characters stories are always set within a context that is explained by our favorite historian Lucy. Then, fascinating and colorful details are included, such as costumes and fun facts, to attract and keep the attention of even the most reticent of learners.
Truly, Timeless has provided an access point for teachers and students that is unparalleled. Television is often talked about as an “extra” that is good to limit or use as a reward after the homework is done.
It is truly exceptional and downright revolutionary that Timeless is a television show that is healthy for our brains and leads to greater education.
Teachers are teaching with Timeless, and we need a Season 3 to help us craft even more lessons.
10. Time Team Growing Ever More Connected

On Season 2 of Timeless, we learn more about several of the bunker’s occupants, including Connor Mason and Agent Denise Christopher. We even meet a young Agent Christopher on “The Day Reagan Was Shot” and see her struggle with coming out to her family.
On “King of the Delta Blues,” we see Connor and Rufus dig into their fears of failure. We learn about how their relationship was developed in the past and why Rufus came to admire Connor.

Flynn has yet to be completely accepted by the Time Team, but Season 2 has provided a more empathetic lens for the dark character.
The brief interaction between Flynn and Agent Christopher during “The Day Reagan Was Shot” is a surprisingly tender and emotionally impacting moment. We have learned much about the Time Team and it helps us become more connected to them. We want to be even closer!
Season 3 will give us more time to learn about all the Time Team members and see many different relationships amongst them.
11. Jiucy

Jiya and Lucy is a pairing that has burgeoned in the most recent few episodes of Timeless Season 2. On “The Kennedy Curse,” Jiya advises Lucy to consider what she wants. Jiya also listens to Lucy.
On “The Day Reagan Was Shot,” we see Lucy and Jiya, Jiucy, paired together as a time-traveling team. They employ the rules of improv, always use “Yes, and.” The support they provide each other is very important to see on screen.

We need another season of Timeless, so the friendship and partnership between the brilliant women can be further developed.
12. Flynn on the Time Team

Flynn joins the Time Team in the bunker on Season 2. Forced to spend time together, the team ends up building a wary partnership with the combative time traveler.
Flynn’s excessive love of weapons and mischief is balanced by his deep understanding of what it is like to lose everything you care about at the hands of Rittenhouse.
HIs inclusion underground adds extra tension and fun to Timeless. On Season 3 we could have the chance to learn more about Flynn’s fight for his family and to see interesting new pairings with different characters.
We absolutely need more time to see Flynn, “Flynn it up!”
13. Clockblockers

Clockblockers are a fandom that has traveled back in time to bring back Timeless for a second season. It is a fandom that supports each other through personal battles and manages to have respectful discussions about heated topics.
No fandom, or show, is perfect. But, Clockblockers have proven themselves, time and time and time again. Our efforts deserve to be met with a Timeless Season 3.

Timeless us 100% great entertainment, plain and simple. The writers keep us in suspense while at the same time, reminding us of historical events that have helped shape us to be who and where we are today. The show is absolutely my favorite because of how well the plot is written and it keeps me coming back for more! Please renew!!!
I wonder if Netflix would be a good choice for Timeless if NBC doesn’t pick it up? I too am left in suspense after each episode, so it would be a blast to be able to binge!
Great writing with numerous plot twists to keep viewers guessing along with historical content. Viewers get action, suspense, thriller, science fiction, education, romance and unpredictability which 90% of television scripts can’t even come close to establishing. Find Timeless a better time slot and promote the series and the viewers will grow.
I completely agree! Students who want to watch likely have bedtimes before 10 PM! The show has it all, and a quirky, tender sense of humor too. It is a gem worth fighting to keep.
I’m sorry, but I’m not a “Lyatt” fan anymore. Season 2 has killed it for me. I also realized that Abigail Spencer has better chemistry with Goran Višnjić anyway. Spencer and Matt Lanter were okay when their characters were barely aware of their feelings for each other. But between the “Hollywoodland” make-out, which I found rather awkward, more scenes between Lucy and Flynn, and along with Jessica Logan’s return . . . it just ended for me.
By the way, the series needs to step up its game in regard to historical background. I just recently re-watched the Season 1 episode about Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. I found a few historical errors in that episode. And Season 2’s “Hollywoodland” had Hedy Lamarr working at Paramount Studios. She was a contract player for MGM in 1941. Nor was she ever loaned out to Paramount during that year.
